Meghann Zapcic-Desrochers, MD

Meghann started her career in EMS as an EMT at UMass Amherst serving as the Director of Operations for UMass EMS as well as working as an EMT on multiple municipal agencies in Massachusetts and Pennsylvania. She attended the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University prior to completing residency at Baystate Medical Center in Emergency Medicine. She completed her fellowship in Emergency Medical Services at Brown University. Meghann is excited to be returning to Baystate to join the division to continue working with the prehospital community in Western Massachusetts. In addition, she serves as a regional coordinator for the National Collegiate EMS Foundation and as the Course Director for the New England EMS Fellowship Regional Didactic. Outside of medicine, Meghann enjoys spending time with friends and family, hiking, weightlifting, and baking new recipes.
